Retired and like to travel as much as possible 6 or 7 months out of the year. Padres baseball and Charger football fan, like to ride my Suzuki 800 motorcycle, and read.
Athena and I rode from Klamath Falls OR. up to Crater Lake OR. National Park and spent the day. Fabulous Place and a must visit if Your in the NW. If You want a boat ride, You must hike 2 miles to reach them. Some of the drop offs are over a thousand feet down. The snow levels can reach 30' to 40'. Note the highway pole Athena is standing in front of in one of the pictures

I took a trip to the Laguna Mountains in the Cleveland National Forest. Note that you can look down at the desert from the snow @ 6,000 feet. Don't throw snowballs at cars!
